Technical Localization = Unifying the Technical and Linguistic Teams

In every localization process, technical and linguistic teams work together to deliver the best results. In technical localization, it’s even more important.

Technical localization can be complex, which is why we wanted to make things as simple as possible for you.

In addition to localization, we offer additional services (DTP and prepress proofing, software testing) so that you don’t lose time coordinating multiple vendors.

DTP and Prepress ProofingDTP and Prepress Proofing

We can create and edit your localized materials using professional desktop publishing (DTP) software.

The result is a linguistically, culturally, and technically impeccable ready-to-print WYSIWYG file with edited layouts, images, and textual elements.

Software TestingSoftware Testing

Testing of translated and localized mobile and desktop apps is the final quality control step in the tech localization process.

Once the localized elements are integrated, the software product is tested by professional, native linguists for clarity, consistency, accuracy, and usability in the target language.

We deliver the best localization services. The numbers don’t lie.

Walking the Technical Side of Localization: Orchestrating QA, OCR and DTP to Really Work for You

On the execution level, every localization project has two major distinct dimensions – linguistic and technical. While the linguistic dimension encompasses language adaptation issues, such as language pairs, translation, and review, technical dimension includes physical aspects of the project, such as file formats, required software, digital resources and various additional services that need to be performed before, during and after the project, all with the aim of ensuring the quality and usability of the final localized materials. Both dimensions are of equal importance and we may say that the difference between translation and localization happens at the junction point of these two dimensions.
