Ciklopea at 21st Summer University in Tuzla

Ciklopea took part in this year’s Summer University event in Tuzla, acting in its capacity of Elia Exchange coordinator for the West Balkans. Elia Exchange program is developed and curated by ELIA (European Language Industry Association) and its aim is building a mutually beneficial relationship between the business and the academic community.
A lecture on standards, trends and recent developments in the language industry was held at the Faculty of Philosophy. Students of linguistic departments were introduced to professional translation technologies and processes such as CAT tools, translation memories, terminology bases and QA tools and processes. The lecture was concluded with a presentation of Elia Exchange and a Q&A session.
